For the first time in Germany: the Mekkadöner

„There’s a lot of demand for pleasure and quality again“, according to the Internorga of this year – and Mekkafood will be present at this fair for the hotel, restaurant, catering, baking and confectionery trades in Hamburg. Already for the 81st time, this international flagship fair for the modern out-of-home market will take place. From March 9th to 14th 2007, Mekkafood can be found in hall A1 at stand 204.

Besides its large assortment, the market leader in 100% halal products will also present a new product there: the Mekkadöner. For the first time, the innovative döner-variant will be presented to the German audience. More than 100,000 visitors are expected, who can convince themselves of the complete meal and the new concept. The döner meat is supplied with a fitting sauce in a special fast food wrapping, and a tasty meal can be prepared quickly and easily, along with for example a portion of French fries.

For years, Mekkafood is the specialist in halal snacks. The medium-sized company from Nettetal-Kaldenkirchen is known for its diversity in products, from cevapcici to lahmacun. Only certified halal meat is being handled and produced; also, of course, for the new product, the new Mekkadöner.
