Mekkafood sets the table at the Horecava

For some years one name, encompassing two trade exhibitions, has impressed the Benelux: Horecava. This trade exhibition for the restaurant, hospitality and catering industries will take place in the Amsterdam RAI from January 7 to 10 and in the Maastricht MECC (BBB) from January 21 to 24. As a recognized specialist in various areas of halal-snacks, from croquettes to lahmacum, Mekkafood will also be present.

A couple of weeks ago, the medium-sized company from Nettetal-Kaldenkirchen already caused quite a sensation at the world’s biggest food exhibition: At the Anuga, Mekkafood received the ‚Taste_07’ award for the Oriental Soufflés. This new product will also be in the spotlight at the Horecava.

The awarded Oriental Soufflé is a vegetarian speciality for connoisseurs. In a couple of minutes the dish will be deep-fried and ready to serve. And so it excellently meets the hurried and uncomplicated needs of nowadays. The new Oriental Soufflés are offered in packagings of 24 x 60 grams.

For Mekkafood‘s modern döner kebab, in a refined seasoned spice mix, we have selected the economical 1-kilo-bag for the retail trade. The döner kebab is prepared as desired in the microwave, in the casserole or on the grill.

Since 1993, Mekkafood has been known as a specialist in halal deep-frozen meat products. At the Horecava in Amsterdam and later in Maastricht, the professional visitors can let themselves be convinced once again – of course also by sampling the sophisticated products.

A visit to the Horecava 2008, stand 07.140 in the Amstelhal (hall 7), and the BBB trade exhibition, stand Z.1121 (zuidhal/south hall), is guaranteed to be worth your while.
