Security for the consumer

You can count yourself lucky when you receive a positive review from consumer organisations. In the Netherlands, Mekkafood - a renowned specialist in halal frozen products - achieved very good test results in a Consumers' Association test.

 

The test conducted by the Consumers' Association focused on hamburgers. One third of the products contain chicken as an alternative to beef - something which, at Mekkafood, goes without saying. The consumer organisation analysed the caloric value and saturated fatty acids, but also the correct wording on the product's packaging.

 

The first three spots were taken by Keurslager (fresh products), C1000 (private brand frozen products) and Mekkafood (frozen products). As such, Mekkafood, as the producer of private brand frozen products, tops this list. This means that consumers know what they get when they buy Mekkafood products.

 

The test conducted by the Consumers' Association has once again proven the quality and reasonable conditions of Mekkafood as brand producers. A total of 22 products were tested.
