Cevapcici with bulgur and fresh salad
For an easy, flavorful meal, you can't go wrong with these Cevapcici with bulgur and a fresh salad. The spiced Cevapcici give the dish plenty of flavor, while the salad provides a refreshing balance.
Ingrediënten
- 500g Mekkafood cevapcici
- 200g bulgur
- 1 white onion
- 1 red onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 zucchini
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 vegetable bouillon cubes
- 1 bunch of parsley, finely chopped
- 100g lamb's lettuce
- 2 tomatoes
- ½ cucumber
- Dressing of your choice
Bereidingswijze
- Boil 500ml of water with 2 bouillon cubes and the tomato paste.
- Dice the tomatoes and the half cucumber, then finely chop the white onion and garlic.
- Cut the zucchini and bell pepper into large cubes.
- Sauté the white onion and garlic in a pan with olive oil, then add the zucchini and bell pepper shortly after.
- Add the bulgur and slowly pour in the bouillon so the bulgur can absorb it.
- Add broth until the bulgur is soft. Meanwhile, prepare the Cevapcici according to the package instructions and wash the lettuce.
- Next, add the tomatoes and cucumber to the lettuce and add a dressing of your choice.
- Divide the bulgur among the plates and place the salad on one side of the plate. Add the Cevapcici.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and the diced red onion. Enjoy your meal!
